For the 200th anniversary of Charles Piazzi Smyth,  Astronomer Royal for Scotland, Written in Film produced an exhibition film for display in the Nelson Monument, Edinburgh. We also project managed the exhibition development, produced the concept design and wrote the exhibition text.

The film and exhibition show Piazzi Smyth as a Victorian polymath who, along with his partner Jessie Duncan, pioneered mountaintop astronomy, experimented with photography, explored pyramids as well as sketching and continually recording the weather.
