In 2015 The Welcoming Edinburgh launched Welcoming a Greener Future, a project centred on climate change. The aim is to educate and raise awareness about climate change issues and reduce carbon emissions within the migrant and refugee communities living in Edinburgh. The Welcoming A Greener Future project is part of The Welcoming Association and is funded by the Scottish Government's Keep Scotland Beautiful Climate Challenge Fund.
